The Ice Blocks- Sacramento
The Ice blocks, the newer hangout spot In Sacramento. I like to consider this area my one stop shop. I can enjoy my favorite things all In one place- visiting coffee shops, shopping and eating yummy foods.
Grab a friend and enjoy a day at the Ice blocks!
Itinerary
Spot 1: Scorpio Coffee (not considered in The Ice blocks, but very close by)
Location: 1905 16th St, Sacramento, CA 95811
I like to come to this spot around 10 am. It Is the perfect spot to ease Into the afternoon. Scorpion Coffee Is a Japanese Inspired coffee shop. A must try Is their muesli. Museli is a bowl of fresh fruit, yogurt and oats. If you are a texture person, you will love this.
Spot 2: Mendocino Farms
Location: 1610 R Street, Sacramento, CA 95811
Next, I like to stop by Mendocino Farms for a light but filling lunch. A quick 3 minute walk from Scorpio Coffee. My go to order Is a classic- The Modern Cesar Salad with chicken. They have lots of different options from hot/cold sandwiches, salads, and healthy bowls.

Stop 3: Anthropologie
Location: 1610 R St Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95811
After a full tummy, I like to go next door and explore Anthropologie. Here you will be welcomed with extravagant clothing. I personally like to stop by and look at the home decor and smell the candles.

Stop 4: Salt and Straw
Location: 1710 R St Unit 100, Sacramento, CA 95811
Now It Is time for dessert! My all time favorite type of dessert Is Ice cream. I have no willpower when It comes to Ice cream. If It Is In front of me, I will eat It. Salt and Straw has unique flavors. I can't remember the exact name, but my go to has olive oil In It. I know, sounds weird right? But It Is delightful. At first bite, the creamy vanilla Ice cream fills the palette, and at the end, you are welcomed with the aroma of olive oil. It Is a must try.
