I have a lot of memories of San Francisco. My mom Immigrated to SF from South Korea, and my grandma still lives In the city. Growing up, my family would visit my grandma about once a month. We had our usual route- grandma's house, Japan Town and Ocean Beach.

Now that I am older, I have the opportunity to explore more of the city.

Below Is our Itinerary for the perfect SF weekend getaway.

Itinerary:

Friday Night- Day 1: After work, my boyfriend and I drove down to Burlingame and stayed at the Mariott Waterfront (1800 Old Bayshore Hwy, Burlingame, CA 94010). We have stayed at this location multiple times. From the hotel, you can view the airplanes arriving/departing from SFO. The parking fee here Is also a lot more forgiving. In the city, overnight parking is on average are $75 per night. Ridiculous. Here, at Mariott Waterfront, It Is closer to $35 a night. This Mariott, Is about a 25ish minute drive from the city.

As soon as we get unpacked, we like to make our way Into downtown Burlingame. Here Is one of my favorite sushi restaurants! My boyfriend and I always try and make It a point to eat here- Sakae Sushi and Grill (243 California Dr, Burlingame, CA 94010). Their sushi Is simple, fresh and such good quality. Everything melts In your mouth. They really know how to showcase each fish without all the fancy sauces.

After, you can walk around Burlingame and make your way to dessert. Around the corner Is Salt and Straw Ice cream (1309 Burlingame Ave Suite 110, Burlingame, CA 94010)! A great way to end the night by trying some of their unique flavors. My favorite Is their Abrequina Olive Oil (you gotta try It).

We grabbed Salt and Straw to-go and spent more time exploring Burlingame

Saturday- Day 2: One of the benefits of staying at the Mariott Waterfront Is their amazing walking path right outside of the hotel. Grab a coffee and enjoy the view of the airplanes and take a little stroll.

Next, we made our way Into the city. We like to park our car In the Union square parking garage (333 Post St, San Francisco, CA 94108) and ride the F line Streetcart to Pier 1, the Ferry building.

The Ferry building Is a great place to grab a snack or a drink. Inside, there are many different food vendors and on the weekend, you may find yourself enjouing a cute farmers market. You can plan to spend a couple hours here. After, you can ride the F line back to union square.

Next, we made our way to Golden Gate Park. This Park Is beautiful! You can spend the rest of the day exploring here but, we decided to check out the de Young Museum (50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118).

While you are here checking out the cool artifacts and paintings, don't forget to check out the observational deck for an amazing 360 degree view of the city.

With the museum closing at 5pm, the next perfect activity Is catching the sunset at Ocean Beach (Great Hwy, San Francisco CA 94121). It gets really cold so I would pack a blanket or something warm to drink.

Sunday- Day 3: The Golden Gate Bridge Is a must visit before leaving the city. Right after you cross the bridge, towards Sausalito, there Is a look out point where you can park your car, take a stunning photo and enjoy walking across the bridge.
