Comfort That Comes With a Vanilla Latte

When people ask... what are your hobbies? I always have to pause and think... does exploring new coffee shops count? I like to drink coffee, but the experience of a coffee shop Is what really gets me out of the door.

Coffee shops are my happy place for several different reasons. Each shop has their own ambiance that comes with a unique experience. My favorite shops present themselves with an aesthetic that embodies warmth, modern design, and a great vanilla latte.

My first Vanilla latte was In college. Not only did I graduate from high school, but I thought It was time to wean myself off the Infamous Starbuck's frappuccinos for something more "mature". This was literally my thought while I was waiting In line to order. So what did I order for my new sophisticated self? A vanilla latte. Ever since, I was hooked. At first sip, vanilla lattes are sweet, next with a kick of boldness from the espresso, and lastly comfort from the whole milk.

Vanilla Lattes are like my comfort blanket... something familiar to me. Comfort... an important aspect for me when I find myself navigating the unknowns of new coffee shop.

Below Is my first time at Camellia Coffee Roasters. Camilia Is In my opinion the cutest coffee shop In Sacramento. You are welcomed with different hues of pink, traditional brick and a large mural of abstract people. Their vanilla lattes are also creamy and delicious. If you are ever In the area, looking for a hip, cute coffee shop, stop by Camellia Coffee Roasters.

FYI- I see their breakfast sandwich pictures on Instagram all the time. Unfortunately I did not order one this time, but I can't wait for my next trip to try.
